The consumption rate of powdered brick adhesive depends on the porosity and roughness of the substrate. However, the average usage is about 4 to 5 kg per square meter.
The surface should be solid, clean, dry, and free from dust and loose particles. This adhesive can be used for leveling, aligning, and correcting minor imperfections in substrates up to 5 mm in thickness. Sufficient time (at least 48 hours) should be allowed for the mortar to dry.
Mix the powder with 7 liters of clean, salt-free water to form a paste-like mortar. After mixing, wait for 5 minutes to allow the mortar to set. Then, using a notched trowel and the double bonding method, spread the resulting paste on the surface and the back of the brick.
After 48 hours from installation, grouting can be done. During this period, avoid applying pressure to the installed materials.
If installing on gypsum or lightweight block surfaces, the substrate must be prepared, and primer should be applied before installation.
The adhesive layer to be applied should be between 3 to 10 mm thick. For accurate application, it’s better to use a notched trowel. After applying a layer of adhesive, place the brick on the desired surface. To ensure proper adhesion, use a rubber hammer to tap the brick into place.
Before application, use a straight edge (shamsha) and level to identify any surface irregularities and level the surface using primer, bonding agent, and cement-based coatings.
Perform bricklaying 4 days after the surface has been leveled.
Using a notched trowel, you can control the amount and thickness of adhesive required for the brick installation.
This type of adhesive should have the appropriate consistency for brick installation.
Under normal temperature and humidity conditions, the maximum working time is 20 minutes.
When bricklaying is done on a tall surface, it is necessary to install the bricks in multiple stages with proper time intervals, allowing the previous layer to dry sufficiently to bear the weight of the new heavy bricks.
Use of this adhesive is not recommended in temperatures below 5°C.
The ideal temperature for drying this adhesive is above 15°C.
Applying twist pressure on the brick after installation is essential to ensure complete transfer of the adhesive to the back of the brick.
Grouting should be performed one day after the adhesive has fully set.

Brick is one of the most adaptable construction materials to human nature, having been used in various forms throughout history. It is one of the oldest building materials, dating back around 10,000 years, according to some archaeologists. In Iran, the remains of brick kilns and pottery kilns found in Shush and Silk Kashan, dating back to the 4th millennium BC, have been discovered.
Today, with the development of the construction industry, inorganic cement, graded silica stone, and dispersed polymers are used instead of traditional cement and sand mortar, offering better performance and cost-efficiency in bonding various types of bricks.
KamFix C-500 Brick Adhesive contains Portland cement along with polymeric additives, bonding enhancers, mineral fillers, and fibers and is used for installing different types of bricks in both indoor and outdoor applications. This product is fully waterproof, has extremely high adhesion, and will not dissolve in water once set and dried. Additionally, it has water-repellent properties. This is a one-component product designed specifically for bonding various types of bricks.
This product is produced in compliance with EN 12004-TYPE C1F standards.
