The consumption rate of powdered brick adhesive depends on the condition of the substrate (porosity and surface irregularities), but on average, about 4 to 5 kg is used to cover one square meter.
The surface to be applied must be solid, clean, dry, and free from dust and loose particles. This adhesive can be used to level, align, and correct minor surface imperfections up to a thickness of 5 mm, but sufficient time (at least 48 hours) is required for drying.
Mix the powder with 7 liters of clean, salt-free water to create a paste-like mortar. After mixing, wait 5 minutes to allow the mortar to set. Then, using a notched trowel and the double bonding method, apply the resulting paste to the surface and the back of the brick.
After 48 hours of installation, grouting can be done. During this period, avoid applying any pressure on the installed material.
When installing on gypsum surfaces or lightweight blocks, ensure that the substrate is properly prepared, and after applying primer, proceed with installation.
The adhesive layer should be 3 to 10 mm thick. For accurate application, it is recommended to use a notched trowel. After applying a layer of adhesive, place the brick on the desired surface. To ensure good adhesion, use a rubber hammer to tap the brick into place.
Before applying, use a straight edge and level to identify surface irregularities, and level the surface with primer, bonding agent, and cement-based coatings.
Perform bricklaying 4 days after surface leveling.
Using a notched trowel, you can control the amount and thickness of adhesive required for brick installation.
This adhesive should have the appropriate consistency for brick installation.
Under normal temperature and humidity conditions, the maximum working time is 20 minutes.
When bricklaying on a high vertical surface, the installation should be done in multiple stages, with proper time intervals, to allow the underlying layer to dry sufficiently and support the weight of the new bricks.
The use of this adhesive is not recommended in temperatures below 5°C.
The ideal temperature for drying these adhesives is above 15°C.
Twist pressure should be applied to the brick after installation to ensure complete transfer of the adhesive to the back of the brick.
Grouting should be done one day after the adhesive has fully set.

Brick is one of the most adaptable building materials to human nature, used in various forms throughout history. It is one of the oldest building materials, dating back about 10,000 years, according to some archaeologists. In Iran, the remains of brick kilns and pottery kilns found in Shush and Silk Kashan, dating back to the 4th millennium BC, have been discovered.
Today, with the development of the construction industry, instead of using traditional cement and sand mortar, inorganic cement, graded silica stone, and dispersed polymers are used, which offer better and more cost-efficient bonding for various types of bricks.
C-400 Brick Adhesive contains Portland cement along with polymeric additives, bonding enhancers, mineral fillers, and fibers, and is used for installing various types of bricks both indoors and outdoors. This product is completely waterproof and also has very high adhesion, and once dry and set, it will not dissolve in water. In addition, it has water-repellent properties. This product is a one-component adhesive designed specifically for bonding various types of bricks.
The production of this product complies with the EN 12004-TYPE C1S1 standard.
