For grouting various tiles, stones, ceramics, mosaics, granite, antique stone in bathrooms, kitchens, public halls, and facades
The substrate must be clean and free from any materials that reduce or prevent adhesion.
For each 5 kg bag, add 15-20% of the bag’s weight in water.
Mixing the powder with water should be done using an electric mixer (drill + paddle).
The container used for mixing powder and water should be appropriate for work speed and mixing volume. Always add the powder slowly to the water, and ensure that the electric mixer is running during powder addition.
Continue mixing until a uniform paste is achieved. Let the prepared mortar sit for 5 minutes, then proceed with grouting using a rubber spatula.
After 10 to 20 minutes of application, when the applied mortar is no longer in a paste-like state, clean the surface using a damp sponge. If this step is performed while the mortar still retains its paste-like state, it may cause color changes on the surface or cracking.
KamFix uses the latest technologies to manufacture various grout powders. Below, we introduce some of KamFix’s special grout products for floor tile and ceramic grouting, considered the best method for floor tile grouting. Some of their features and characteristics are as follows:
Polymeric: This type of grout powder is named after its main material, which is polymeric compounds. The grains are called nano-sized, meaning they are very fine, which allows them to easily fill the gaps and joints of tiles.
Colored: Although white grout is often used for service areas and tiles, sometimes it is necessary to use colored grout powders to make the overall design look more uniform. These colored powders offer the same durability and resistance as other types and effectively prevent water penetration.
Anti-bacterial: In certain places such as hospitals and health centers, due to the specific usage environment, it is essential to use anti-bacterial tiles and ceramics (especially in restrooms), and in such cases, anti-bacterial grout powder must also be used for grouting. Otherwise, all efforts will be wasted. This type of grout is more expensive than regular grout powders.
Waterproof: Although most grout powders are water-resistant, in some areas like swimming pools and water features, where the surface is constantly exposed to water, a grout with maximum resistance to moisture and water is required. These types of grout often incorporate resins, which not only make them water-resistant but also provide abrasion resistance.
Acidic: For grouting industrial and chemical areas, special grout powders containing acidic compounds are used, providing unique resistance to acidic fluids and chemical environments.
Grout powders are classified into three categories based on the materials they are used with:
Brick: For use between bricks, grout powders are made from Portland cement and stone powder. The grains of the grout powder are large, and they are used for filling joints 6 to 20 mm wide.
Tiles and Ceramics: Most residential building grouting uses this type, where the grains are fine and water-resistant.
Stone: Though the grout powder used for stone grouting has larger grains, it is one of the most resistant types against abrasion, water, and temperature changes.

KamFix grout powder contains cement, so avoid inhaling its dust. Since it produces alkali when mixed with water, avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. It is recommended to use a mask, gloves, and safety goggles when working with any chemicals. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of fresh water.
Grout powder is one of the essential materials used in construction and for tile and ceramic installation, playing a critical role in connecting the components. This product is produced in various types, each suitable for different applications depending on the environment.
KamFix micronized grout powder is cement-based and is essentially a blend of cement, polymeric additives, organic materials, mineral fillers, color pigments, modifying additives, and high-flow water-repellent agents for grouting walls and floors in both indoor and outdoor environments.
This product contains special chemical additives that enhance quality, prevent cracking and chipping, and offer a wide range of colors.
Key features include high durability, excellent color retention, abrasion resistance, and scratch resistance. Thanks to its water-repellent properties, crack resistance in thicknesses from 0 to 10 mm, and high tensile strength, it is ideal for use in bathrooms, restrooms, balconies, stores, kitchens, and shopping centers.
