  • Suitable for installing various coverings on cement, concrete, and stone surfaces.

  • Indoor and outdoor tile installations.

  • Ideal for high-traffic areas.

  • Capable of installing tiles over existing tiles.

Product Application Method

Consumption Rate

The consumption of powdered tile adhesive depends on the condition of the substrate surface (porosity, unevenness) and the grooves in the tiles. On average, 2.5 to 4 kg of adhesive covers one square meter.

Application Method

  • The substrate must be solid, clean, dry, and free from dust and oil. Any loose color or covering should be removed before applying the adhesive. This adhesive can also be used for leveling, smoothing, and correcting minor irregularities on the surface up to 5 mm thick. Allow at least 48 hours for drying.

  • Mix 5-6 liters of clean, non-salty water with the adhesive powder until you achieve a paste-like mortar. After mixing, wait 5 minutes to allow the mortar to set.

  • Using a notched trowel, apply the mortar to the surface and back of the tiles using the double bonding method.

  • Ensure that any air trapped between the surface and tiles is removed by uniformly tapping or shifting the tiles.

  • After 48 hours from installation, you can begin grouting. During this time, avoid applying pressure on the installed material.

  • When installing over old tiles, make sure to scratch off at least two-thirds of the glaze from the old tiles before proceeding with installation.

  • For installation on gypsum surfaces or lightweight blocks, ensure proper surface preparation and apply primer before installation.

Technical and Execution Recommendations

  • Before applying, use a straight edge and level to identify any surface irregularities, and then level using primer, concrete adhesive, and cement-based render.

  • Perform tiling 4 days after leveling.

  • Use a notched trowel to control the amount and thickness of adhesive needed for tile installation.

  • This type of adhesive should have the appropriate consistency for tile installation.

  • The consistency should ensure that the adhesive immediately bonds to the tile and does not easily separate.

  • Under normal temperature and humidity conditions, the maximum working time is 30 minutes.

  • When using tiles with low water absorption or large dimensions, the installation time will be longer.

  • When installing tiles on a large surface area, it is necessary to install the tiles in multiple stages, with suitable intervals between each stage, so that the underlying layer has dried and can bear the weight of the new heavy tiles.

  • The use of this adhesive is not recommended below 5°C.

  • The optimal temperature for drying the adhesive is above 15°C.

  • If the top layer of the adhesive has dried, reapply with a trowel before placing the tiles.

  • After installation, apply pressure in a twisting motion on the tiles to ensure complete adhesion to the back of the tiles.

  • Grouting should be done 1 day after adhesive curing.

Additional Information

Porcelain Tile Adhesive (T-200) is a blend of cement, various polymeric additives, mineral fillers, and cellulose fibers. By simply adding water, it transforms into a highly adhesive paste that is water-resistant and ideal for installing various types of tiles and ceramics, particularly porcelain tiles with low water absorption. This product is completely waterproof, and after drying and curing, it will not dissolve in water. Additionally, it has water-repellent properties. This is a single-component adhesive designed for bonding stone, ceramics, and slabs.
The production of this product complies with EN 12004-TYPE C2TE standards.

Mechanism of Action

The powdered tile adhesive is formulated with cement and micronized fillers, which, when mixed with water, create a strong bonding mortar suitable for fixing various tiles and ceramics to different surfaces. The combination of cement and copolymers in the formulation provides optimal adhesion to the substrate. Additionally, the presence of dispersing agents in this product allows for a longer open time (gel time), making it easier to adjust and move tiles during installation. The extended gel time ensures that the tiles can be repositioned and set more easily on the adhesive layer.
